Climbing helps

us grow up strong.

Physical play is critical. It promotes strength, dexterity, confidence and creativity — even clarity of thinking. Studies confirm it. Kids can get out there, take risks and learn confidence. And physical play helps them practice decision-making skills.

Team play is

good for all of us.

Teammates get to collaborate. They practice creativity and communication. Team activities release all kinds of endorphins, making children more alert. It sharpens brains’ memory and thinking skills. And it helps a kid maintain optimal weight, lower blood pressure, and reduce their risk of other diseases.

When we dig,

we get into it.

A garden stimulates all five senses in kids and stimulation keeps them engaged. Studies show kids who garden opt for healthier snacks. The excitement of growing and tending plants, along with weather cycles, rainfall and insect life around the plants, fosters natural curiosity and teaches reasoning, planning and organizational skills.

Now and again,

you gotta chill.

Everyone needs a little moment of zen. A chill zone improves attention, behaviour and physical benefits. Kids enjoy enhanced focus and concentration. They can reflect, develop self-awareness, curb their natural impulsivity and show more positive behaviour.

The outdoors

is our creative outlet.

Outdoor fun is a catalyst to creativity. It provides both physical benefits and enhances academic performance. Kids enjoy reduced stress and improved immune function and they learn and retain information better. They are more motivated and come to see how their schoolyard is a microcosm that reflects global environmental issues.
